Hunt Story
With the threat of rain I decided to revisit a hunt from 2020 and made it a drive up hunt so no sniffing was required.
I hid one transmitter at the end of Chimney Rock Lane off of Old Hwy 80.
1 watt transmitter in to a 4 element horizontally polarized beam pointed at El Capitan Mountain.
The signal report was good at the start point so the hunt began.
Both the SZO and RXX team saw this same hide in January 2022
SZO/BAF arrived at 5:45 beating their old time by 35 minutes.
RXX/JEI arrived at 6:25 beating their old time by 5 minutes.
PHB/AJ6XP arrived at 6:57. They didn't have any time to compare.
